SayMorrow is operated and provided by Steward Copilot LLC. In this policy, "we," "us," and "our" refer to Steward Copilot LLC.
When you create an account we store your email address, display name, and a salted hash of your password (we never store the password itself). As you use the app we store your practice sessions (topics, message counts, scores, AI feedback summaries), saved vocabulary words, XP and streak statistics.
When you use voice input, your recording is uploaded to our server and sent to a speech-to-text provider (Groq, with OpenAI as a fallback) to be transcribed. Recordings are used only for transcription and are not used to train models by us.
Your conversation messages are sent to Anthropic's Claude API to generate tutor responses, feedback, and analysis. If you use picture practice, the photo you choose is sent for AI description feedback in the same way. If you use the premium coach voice, the text to be spoken is sent to ElevenLabs to synthesize audio. This content is processed under those providers' commercial data policies and is not used by us for any other purpose.
We record basic in-app events (for example, that a practice session was completed) tied to your account to understand feature usage and improve the app. These events contain no message content or recordings. This data stays in our own database and is not sold or shared with advertisers.
If you enable notifications, we store a device push token so we can send reminders (such as review or win-back prompts). You can turn notifications off at any time in your device settings, which stops these messages.
We do not sell your personal data. We do not share your data with advertisers. We do not use your learning content for anything other than providing the service.
Your data is kept while your account is active. You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time from Profile → Delete Account. Deletion is immediate and irreversible.
Preferences such as your learning goals, streak reminders, saved phrases, and spaced-repetition schedule are stored locally on your device and can be removed by uninstalling the app.
